The Role

As Day Shift Production Supervisor, you’ll report to the Shift Manager and step up as second-in-charge. You’ll coordinate people, technology, and processes to ensure smooth, efficient apple packing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the flow of apples to align with people and plant      availability
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Troubleshooting production issues
  • Analysing production data and reporting insights
  • Documenting best practices and delivering training to boost team      performance

Seasonal Schedule:

  • Packing season: Mid-February to November 
    • Monday–Saturday, 5.45am – 4.15pm (up to 65 hours/week)
  • Off-season: Monday–Friday (up to 40      hours/week)

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven team leadership experience
  • Background in packhouse, food manufacturing, or similar production      environments
  • Familiarity with Compac Spectrum or similar software (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of quality standards and compliance
  • Experience training and supervising staff
  • Commercial awareness of production performance drivers
  • Confident with reporting, SOPs, and digital tools
