Dayshift Production Supervisor

The Role
As Day Shift Production Supervisor, you’ll report to the Shift Manager and step up as second-in-charge. You’ll coordinate people, technology, and processes to ensure smooth, efficient apple packing operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the flow of apples to align with people and plant availability
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Troubleshooting production issues
- Analysing production data and reporting insights
- Documenting best practices and delivering training to boost team performance
Seasonal Schedule:
- Packing season: Mid-February to November
- Monday–Saturday, 5.45am – 4.15pm (up to 65 hours/week)
- Off-season: Monday–Friday (up to 40 hours/week)
What You’ll Bring
- Proven team leadership experience
- Background in packhouse, food manufacturing, or similar production environments
- Familiarity with Compac Spectrum or similar software (preferred)
- Strong understanding of quality standards and compliance
- Experience training and supervising staff
- Commercial awareness of production performance drivers
- Confident with reporting, SOPs, and digital tools
